What a night or should I say very early morning? I was woken at 4:00 this morning by Rylee Belle screaming. I have never heard such a sound come from her. Of course that made me scream. Apparently she decided to sleep on top of the covers last night (it was warmer) and my husband didn't know she was there and must have pushed her off the bed with his foot. In fact, when I let her out in the backyard before I left for work, the sprinklers were on and she decided it would be a good idea to run through them! She's a funny little girl. I just wanted to share that story................scared the daylights out of me (and her)!!!!

I had a little Maltese when I got married years ago. She was used to sleeping on the bed with me. Well, after I got married she would sleep where ever she was comfortable and that was usually at the bottom of the bed. My husband kicked her off the bed by accident a couple of times. After that she learned to sleep only on my side of the bed.

What an awful way to wake up! I hope she forgets it soon and has a restful nights sleep tonight! Gracie likes to sleep under the blanket, too, sometimes. I'm always very careful if I get up during the night because I'm never quite sure where she is.

Thanks everyone for sharing stories and/or expressing concern. I appreciate YT so much! Rylee Belle is her usual "wonderful" self today. She had a very good nights sleep (I sure didn't). I must have checked on her a dozen times through the night to make sure she was in between the two of us and she was! I have been keeping my eye on her just to make sure I didn't miss any possible injuries and so far she seems fine. I will continue to watch her carefully.............of course I do that anyway..............I'm just a little over protective!
