Rylee Belle fell out of bed What a night or should I say very early morning? I was woken at 4:00 this morning by Rylee Belle screaming:eek:. I have never heard such a sound come from her. Of course that made me scream. Apparently she decided to sleep on top of the covers last night (it was warmer) and my husband didn't know she was there and must have pushed her off the bed with his foot. I think she must have been in a sound sleep also (poor baby) because it scared her something awful. She wasn't hurt, was able to walk just fine but she wouldn't go back to sleep for about an hour. Just sat up in bed staring at us like she couldn't believe what we had done to her . She was her usual "sassy" self this morning. In fact, when I let her out in the backyard before I left for work, the sprinklers were on and she decided it would be a good idea to run through them! :p She's a funny little girl. I just wanted to share that story................scared the daylights out of me (and her)!!!! |
yikes......glad shes ok. |
I once knocked my Gina off the bed. She hit the floor with a thud. I felt soooo terrible. She was ok but I still felt awful. I know how you feel and I try to turn over slowly so as not to knock Zoey off the bed. |
Aw glad shes okay they can give you a good scare though. My chachi loves to run through the water too its so cute |
My husband knocked Georgie out of the bed too. He is now very careful and we encourage Georgie to sleep in the middle of us since we have a king size bed. I am glad she is ok and was running through the sprinkler this morning so cute! |
How scary! I'm glad she's doing fine now. It must have scared her quite a bit! |
Milo falls off the bed but launches himself more often. He steps to the edge of the bed, tests the air and launches himself like Spiderman...never a whimper just hits the ground running. I am used to it now. |
yikes, so glad that she is ok, that can be so scary. |
Oh my , i am glad she is ok. Mine all sleep in their bedtime crates at night to prevent that... |
Max Max was pushed off the bed by me...but he was under the covers and ended up in a puch made by the sheets...started whuning really loud and I could not find him...it was funny when I did fing him he just got out laid back down and was out again |
Glad Rylie is ok. But now she is a flying yorkie.:p |
Though tiny little babies, these Yorkies are tougher than they look! I had my 6 month old Gia sleeping in her favorite spot (My legs straight out side-by-side with her in the crevase of them) when all of a sudden, from a dead sleep she flipped her body and almost leaped right off from me and onto the floor! Luckily she was fine, and just startled, like me! I think I was shaking for an hour after that happened, it was a scary moment but we both got over it! Most of the time it's the "scare factor" and not actual injuries, but always check your babies and make sure there's no signs of physical injury! |
When they make that screaming sound it's usually because they are scared, not hurt. |
Whew...glad Rylee is ok:thumbup: These little ones sure can scare the us have to death...little dickens. We have a king size bed, Zhoie sleeps in the middle smacked up flat against my chest on top the covers. I do wish she would sleep under, I'd feel she was more safe, but....nope, no way:p |
I am sure she is ok, but keep an eye on her. I had a pup walk off a bed years ago and it took two weeks for the symptoms to come out...he had two herniated cervical discs and ended up unable to walk. He had to have surgery and was fine after that. Not trying to frighten you....just letting you know my experience. His symptoms came on slowly and I missed them until he was really bad. |
