| I've only ever owned male dogs Bentley is still a puppy he doesn't mark yet, he will be getting fixed when he is a bit bigger hopefully he wont start, but if he does, i'll work with him to do it outside, not inside.as far as big dog with little dogs... I have a 160 pound Great Dane and Bentley our Yorkie is 3 pounds. they get along great, we have to remind Jaeger every once in a while to be careful but we've never had any issues with the two of them |

| I have had 3 female dogs and 2 males in my lifetime. My first male never marked, my current mail tried to mark but we nipped that in the butt real fast. The only time I have seen my current male mark in the house is when Lola is in heat and he just needed a good reminder that it is not acceptable and he stopped. Personality wise all 4 were different. I have had a very loving but independent female and a needy little female furball of love that clings to me like velcro. I have had two brilliant little boys but my 3rd female was also brilliant. Go with your gut it will seldom let you down...if your heart is calling you to that little boy. Go with it! I will tell you that is exactly what happened to me and I have never regretted my decision. The only thing it did so is make me still want a girl cause I really love the whole pink girly bow thing. |
