I've only ever owned male dogs
Bentley is still a puppy he doesn't mark yet, he will be getting fixed when he is a bit bigger hopefully he wont start, but if he does, i'll work with him to do it outside, not inside.
as far as big dog with little dogs...
I have a 160 pound Great Dane and Bentley our Yorkie is 3 pounds. they get along great, we have to remind Jaeger every once in a while to be careful but we've never had any issues with the two of them
