Robbie, Thank you so much for sharing the pics of your babies with us. This thread is a great leagacy to honor Rio. We are so proud of Courtney and of course of you. Im so sorry that the little girl didnt make it, but she is resting with her mommy now. The pups are getting so big and they are so sweet.

Well here are the babies all together in their playpen...Can you tell who are Rio's and who are Courtney's? LOL, Rio's 3 are a bit smaller. They love their mushy food now and the younger one's still want mama Courtney quite a bit...all of them in general are doing really good and 2 of them will be staying here with me MOST LIKELY

We have all but decided to keep the little boy too, have been calling him "River" which means "Rio" in portugeuse. I may place one of the girls in the future but is still too soon for us to know. I know there were a few people who were interested in these babies before this terrible tradgedy happened to us, and I just want everyone to understand that I can never have this again and this is a very very very special litter to me personally. Now that I am watching these babies grow and becoming attached, the pain is lessoning for me somewhat. I still hurt. But I wanted to say thank you again to all of you who helped me get through such a sad time in my life. She is definitely in her three little babies eyes and I really do see her when I look at them.

Oh Robbie,

The babies are lovely. I'm sorry I didn't read the entire thread, but are you planning on keeping one from Rio's litter? I wouldn't blame you if you did!!!

Girlfriend, anyone who knows the history would completely understand why you want to keep two out of Rio's babies. :Puppy: Don't feel bad about it.

They are so incredibly beautiful! I would love to see them in person, and will PM you soon to set up a meeting sometime mid-January if that works for you.

WOW!! It is so hard to believe that 4 weeks have passed by already...time has flown by so quickly. So happy to know that all are still doing well and are growing so beautifully. Also wonderful to know that you are getting some sort of comfort from these sweet little angels. Keeping 2 sounds perfect to me

All the more to LOVE!! And possibly the little male?? Is that from Courtney's litter?...Again, ALL the more to LOVE

Wish I was closer...would sooo much LOVE to visit you and all the little ones. ~SIGH~...Give them all kisses from PA!!!!

Hee Hee, You'll have to go see my sister for that! None of that around here...now I could offer you a nice glass of wine or a domestic beer

I'm looking forward to getting together and hanging out too! We've talked about it for so long...and as matter of fact, Judi is coming out the weeked of Feb.9, and we could maybe all get together and have dinner or something...kinda like an "eastern nc playdate part 2"...we were talking about that last nite. I'd be happy to host or we could all go out and let someone else do all the clean up!!!!

The two from Courtney's litter , "Blushy" and "Chaka" , female and male, have new parents waiting on them...The little boy of Rio's...(and i do mean "little") is the one I have been calling "River". I may keep him and one of the girls. Or I may keep all 3! I know I will keep 2 though. I've been attached since Rio passed and there's no turning back for me now. I also have Rio's grown daughter, "Bridgit" and she is my little snuggle bug at night in bed. Her children are what will get me through my grief.

Glad, moonshine is some serious stuff. My grandfather made it when he was a live. He would make the guys I dated drink a shot with him..lolol..I wonder why I never got called for second dates..lolol..

LOL, yes it is! We had some being passed around at my sister's for Xmas. Whew! Glad was referring to that...and I only ate a couple of the berries in the bottom and still got all hot and sweaty!
