Isn't this frame around my babies pics just perfect? My friend did this for me and I love it!!! We are taking this pic on a disk and having it done in an 11x13 or whatever the next size up is from an 8x10. i'm going to hang it with all my other pics of my "children"

I LOVE THIS PIC!

An update...The babies are all doing GREAT! I'm so happy to be with them every single day! When i try to sleep late, they wake me for sure! They are eating their kibble and they are just the light of my life. And you all know me by now...I have tons of new pics coming soon and a very SPECIAL update for you!

Yes, I know! And those "ears" hee hee! He is actually "growing" into them a bit now. I remember what my sweet daddy used to say to me, when I was little and I first got my ears pierced: he said "there's gold in them there ears" Ha ha! And River is just that to me...he's gold! I love him. And I miss my Rio so much. A day doesn't go by or an hour even that I don't think of her. It's easier now, but I still have so much pain and guilt. I hope it will fade in time, but her memory never will.

Are you keeping all 3 of the babie? And Did your vet make a replica of her paw print for you? Mine did when I lost my Bear and I went and got it tattooed on my ankle yestarday..

We are keeping River (male) and one sister. The tiny sister will be placed in a wonderful home.

I did not know about the vets doing a replica of a paw print! I wish i would have known that. But the state of mind I was in on that sad day, It's a wonder I even made it home in one piece. Well, I can't do anything now, but I have this....and it's soooo special and was drawn by Michele (waistful) and given to me by my friends Judi and Melissa. Isn't is beautiful? I love it. It hangs right here over my desk as I write this.

Robbie...This is the MOST BEAUTIFUL puppy picture I think I've ever seen~ A card company would just love it....
They are just darling...and River puts a smile on my face each time I look at him!

I know everyone feels just a bit honored that you took us all on this journey with you. You have a HUGE heart....and we love ya.

Robbie I am soo jealous!!! I thought you were keeping all three and now I learn someone is going to be especially blessed by becoming a Mommy to your little one. Is it a YTer?...I hope we get to watch her grow. I love this thread so much and always enjoy reading it and seeing the pics and learning about the updates. Thanks so much Sweetie for allowing us to enjoy your sweet angels with you

Thank you so much and you are welcome, I love sharing their story with you all. And no, it isn't a yt'r that is getting the baby. It's a past client/friend of mine who already has one of my babies. She is a wonderful lady who doesn't live all that far from me so that I can see her when I want to! She is going to be in a loving home (with a home-maker, only daddy works) where she is going to be spoiled rotten and also have a yorkie half sister to grow up with! So this decision was made with my babie's best interest at hand.

I just stumbled upon this thread and wonder where was I that I missed it. Robbie, my deepest sympathy goes out to you, but what beautiful reminders of your beloved. I don't know how you can part with even one, but to know that she is going to a wonderful home...how reassuring. This is why I know deep in my heart that I cannot ever breed my precious Jolene, even though she has had two litters before coming to me. I just can't...I am too selfish and it scares me to death. I admire those of you that do breed and make such beautiful pups to enrich the lives of others. YT has opened my eyes to so much more to breeding than just having a litter of pups and I thank all of you for that.
Robbie, please update those of us that missed the boat on how the little ones are doing. I figure by now they have their new mommies and daddies. Oh, and the picture of the three pups, how darling. I am sooo jealous!! We will have to chat sometime, I am not too far from you...

Your story is remarkable. I think it is amazing how your other female dog has taken to those three puppies as if they were her own. Isn't that amazing?! I guess all living things have "motherly" instincts.

Your puppies are beautiful. What a wonderful memory Rio has left you forever. Her babies are the sweetest.
