Does your dog wear a collar?

I use a harness for Calleigh's walks, also when I attach her to her car seat. The collar is only used for her ID tags. Walking a dog on a collar is a bad idea. Yorkies are known to have problems with collapsing tracheas. It's scary to see a small dog on a collar pulling on a leash.

All the time! I keep his ID tags and rabies tag on his collar. If he got loose somehow but had his tags on, I think there would be a much greater chance off having him returned. So I keep his collar on for "just on case". He has a seperate harness that I use for his leash

I do/did the same thing. As a puppy, I need cat bells on CoCo so I know where she is at all times. It also helps when I'm cooking because while I'm at the stove, I tend to get carried away while cooking, and her bell alerts me. With her bells & tag jingling, I always know where she is.

mine wear collars with their name and my phone number on them. havent had them microchipped yet.

No, Miles wears a harness with all of his info on it when he leaves the house along with his leash attached to it.
