How often to change pee pad?

We use T Bumpkins washable pads. LOVE THEM!!

My THREE go outside most of the time, but I have 4 pads out (one by the back door, one by the kitchen door & then 2 by the front door). This kind of "covers" the bases and also being by the doors, they have learned to go to the door when they gotta go (which helps with training if you want to teach them to go outside).

Because they don't get used that much I wash them 2-3 times a week. I DO spray the clean pee pad with "OUT" stain & odor spray from Walmart when I put it out and never have odor problems.

Mya will go three times but she goes outside as well so it's not always the same. She tries to get rid of it after three hits.

It depends If I'm home all day and I walked them more so they go outside or if its raining , than we use them more someday one or two and some just once.
Don't worry you will know when to change them Lol !!!

Omg now i know why cocoa keeps dragging hers off and folding it and when i dont change it she just finds the floor. Smart pups. But explain the washables

The washables are very absorbent, and I think that's why they don't mind using them over and over. I personally love the PoochPads, they are very thin, so you can get lots of them in the washer, yet they hold more than a thick pad. Also, I have washed them hundreds of times and the seams hold up.

I am so glad to hear that Addy is not the only one who will only pee on a pad twice. If she goes twice and it is still down the next time she will pee on the floor or rug. She also goes outside....sometimes.

I have looked at the T Bumpkins pads and they look really nice. The spray you use from Walmart - what section is it in? Pets or cleaners?
