I use a puppy shampoo but then I will put my human conditioner on her. Is that okay, or should i not be doing that?

Using a product that is as close to the pH as the skin and hair is the gentlest safest way to go. Using a product with a different pH, such as human shampoo, will not show up after one or two uses, but over a period of time, the hair will look fried. If you’re growing coat, it's best to use a good shampoo meant for dogs.

I've heard on Yorkietalk that this is okay to do, but I prefer using something meant for dogs.

There are so many quality dog shampoos and conditioners. It just makes sense to use a product that is meant for your dog's fur and skin.
