| Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I agree, but MAYBE, we can offer advise in a more positive note, I try so hard to offer advise while telling them, how hard and sacrificial is to breed your girl, I know it can be done, but if we start by telling them how horrible of a person they are, I feel that they are not going to even finish reading and just shut us off and not get the right advise, that I just how I feel, and this is why sometimes I don't even post because by the time I post trying to help the dog,the thread has gone so negative that I think the person is not even going to read what I write and the whole thread goes viral with negative judgemental posts, meanwhile the poor dog is probably in danger, I hope we can turn this into a HELP the dog message, and is ok to tell the person how HARD and the risks they are taking with their girl life, but without the need to attack the human,so they can read and learn the RIGHT of Breeding.. like NO all dogs should be bred, etc.. and the HIGH risk of mortality for mom and babies. hugs, |

| Yes it is quite possible. I have one who is never ready until the 18th day. Good Luck and let us know how she is doing.

We all have opinions and are entitled to share. Certainly, I wish the OP well and hope her little girl has no problems - but I can't and won't pretend that I think this was a good idea.

| Slap, OUCH ! Sorry, we just love Yorkies so much, we almost forget their human has feelings. I am not criticizing anyone. Just tossing my thoughts out there. I admit, I stopped responding to most posts about breeding because, I don't like how most of them get negative. I agree with Carmen and Chachi, I hope the OP sticks around. We really do want to help each other. I try to educate, give good facts, advice and I do encourage people to spay and neuter. After the dog is already bred, I change my focus to help with the already pregnant Yorkie. (Yes I know, I preach spay all the time. I work with rescues, abandoned, and unwanted dogs. I have seen first hand the awful results of puppy mills and many back yard breeders. About 99 % of dogs should never be bred ) I also suggest spay after this litter is delivered. The OP already has stated that she intends only one litter. I hope all goes well and that she has a problem free delivery and a beautiful, healthy litter. Yorkie Talk is a wonderful resource, Please stick with us and remember it is free advice, you can ignore anyone, who really annoys you !

| I am thankful to say Destiny had her babies this morning 3 boys and 1 girl. She was only at day 57 but babies and mommy are doing great! We had gone off for the weekend to go boating for our anniversary and the vet said it was ok for us to take her on the boat as long as it was not rough water. She did great, mostly set in my lap she wanted to play but just did not have much get-up and go. I was shocked when she woke me at 4am this morning licking my hand and I felt her tummy and she was having contractions. The first two were born by 5:30 2 boys, then an hour later a girl came butt first and before she was completely out a 3rd boy started coming butt first also Thankful |
