| Max was vaccinated against lepto yesterday. "Leptospirosis is contracted primarily through contact with the urine of an infected animal, but can also be transmitted through bite wounds and the ingestion of infected material". We visit dog parks often and my boys are always sniffing urine spots of other dogs. I prefer to vaccinate and not have to worry.

My vet explained wild life coming into our yard at night even not having any contact with my dogs-their urine or feces or parasites can spread it to my dogs.

| I'm plannig on vaccinating my 6lb shorkie after an incidence of vomiting and diarrhea Bella had. My vet said there had been 4 cases in my area and the dogs get very sick. Bella loves to hang out in my backyard and I want her protected. |

| I don't do a Lepto shot because my vet said that the vaccination only covers a few strains of Lepto. You can have them vaccinated and still get a different strain of Lepto.
