Yes we vaccinate for lepto. I was extremely relunctant to do so when I got ZoE last year. Our vet recommended it and also vaccinates his own dogs (including his yorkie) for it. He gives benadryl at the start of the exam and then vaccinates at the end.

Ok...so that's what I wrote on my last post on this thread, and this week ZoE went for her booster shot. While I forgot which shot it was last year that ZoE got a big lump from, even with being pre-treated with meds prior to shots, the vet had it recorded in his files and it was lepto. So this year, we discussed getting the lepto shot and decided against it.
