| Lili is home and Bailey is not happy!!! Well Lili is home and Bailey is not happy about it! As soon as we walked in the door I came over to Bailey to give him some love before I brought in Lili for the first time. and when he saw her he growled and ran away in a circle and came back and growled again. I put Lili in her bed to rest and I'm hoping Bailey comes around soon. I will take any advise I'm sure many of you have been through this before. |

When i first brought Bella home i had Ruby in another room and let Bella explore for awhile to get her surroundings. Than i let Ruby in and they sniffed eachother and walked away.

| Once he realizes she is here to stay I'm sure he'll be fine! They will end up being best friends. I think our first pet, a cat, still wonders why we weren't satisfied with just her! But then, she's a cat!

| I had the same problem with Bear when I came home with Bandit. He tolerated Bandit if he didnt touch any toys even Bandits new ones.He grabbed him up and shook him like a rag doll twice.I have had Bandit for 8 mths and they get along great now but I still have to fed them seperate because Bear wont let him eat.I even had to hide him under the covers when I first put him in the bed.It takes time but it does get better. |

| I have introduced several new pets into my house over the years. My animals (both cats and dogs) usually take one or two weeks and then become fast friends with a new pet. They usually act jealous or fearful of a new pet. Either way, it usually takes very little time before they become friends. I think it's important that you stay right in the middle of everything and spend individual time with all your pets. Let them see you interacting with and enjoying the new pet. Invite them often to play with you together. Don't let anyone be left out. Don't force togetherness. Giving treats -- "One for you - and one for you - and one for you - and one for you (back and forth) often helps them learn to enjoy and tolerate being close to one another. We know our they will do almost anything for food/treats. Good luck! |
