I was just trying to show support for the person. No matter what anyone thinks a person has the right to make their own decision , that is all i meant...... Yeah, i do know about the sad situation of puppy mills. I think its a shame , i wish it could be stopped.. Maybe someday....

| ![]() I didn't think Laryngeal Paralysis was a big problem with small breed dogs? It seems to be isolated to some larger breeds from what I have read. |

| ![]() I would not take the puppy to the Pet Store and most certainly do not put him on the floor. I know he has not had all of vac's yet and he really should not be around other dog's you know nothing about at the Pet Store. Have fun picking up your new baby and post pictures.

| ![]() I have a Milo. I love him so much. He is almost 8 months old now. I didn't get him till he was 14 weeks old. My breeder told me not to get him out of the house until he has all of his shots. She said pee pad train don't even take him outside till he gets them all. He is great! I do need to put pic of him on here. I have a ton but don't seem to get time to do it. I guess we are always playing!!

| ![]() I wouldn't tempt fate by being sarcastic and nasty about it because you could have problems. Also I would not suggest taking a pup to the pet store who has not had all of his shots but I'm sure you will not believe that either and be sarcastic and nasty about it too.

| ![]() If you are referring to when I said LP I was talking about Luxating Patella. Due to my dog having come from a puppy mill and no one doing testing or even caring to check the breeding dogs for LP she has LP in both legs. One leg the ACL tore as well she had to have and very expensive surgery with a painful recovery and then the pins they put in had to come out which caused pain as well. Her other ACL is suspecting to tear with in a year. The health problems my dog has had is why I am so against puppy mills and sticking as close to the rules as possible. I knew nothing about brokers and all the things you should look for when finding a breeder. I could never imagine my life with out Callie but she has definitely had many problems. I am trying to educate you and other people so they can avoid as many problems as possible and not have to see there dog in pain and miserable like I have seen Callie like after the LP surgery and when she was sick as a pup. Most people who get there dog from either a bad breeder or a puppy mill end up not being able to afford or take care of there dog the right way when they experience some of the problems that can come with getting a pup from a mill or bad breeder.

i think it is so sad but as long as the brokers keep breeding and selling to pet stores and customers turn around an buy them i am afraid it will never end,. i love hearing on the news when a puppy mill is closed down and all those poor animals rescued.

| ![]() Actually, the breeder should have told you this. Your pup should be kept to it's own backyard & not put on the ground outside of your home or yard where other dogs have access to until your pup is Fully vaccinated. I was a vet tech for many yrs & I can't tell you how many pups are lost to Parvo & other canine diseases from this very thing. If you have any questions on this topic, Please call your vet to confirm. Just FYI, Parvo can live a full year in your lawn, this means if a dog with Parvo has relieved itself on your lawn the virus can still be very active & your pup is at huge risk of getting any disease/virus until it is fully vaccinated. |
