| Does your Yorkie hold hands with you? Well, not really hands. When Dex is on the couch and mellowing out he likes me to rub his paw, if I stop he reaches out for me. Other dogs I have has did not want you to touch their paws.. |

| Yes, Betty Boop does!! When we are playing and loving, she will get really still and hold her paw out for me to hold. She will look into my eyes and it's like she understands everything I say. It's the cutest and sweetest thing!

| yes...Ahi likes when I rub her paws too. Maybe because I always did it from the first day I got her. She tends to fall asleep when I do it.

| Well, Bless Pat!! Just when you think you are loosing your mind and imagining YOUR baby is doing something like trying to hold your hand, you read on here that others are doing it too!!!! I think this is so sweet when they do this...whatever you choose to call it!!! I personally have always said, "Kara is trying to hold my hand!" and my family just looks at me and shakes their heads! |

| Yes, my Allie does this all the time. My past Lizzie also did this as well. They are only two of all the ones I have had that did this.

| My Maddox loves to hold hands with me, even while he's napping. He bats his little paw in the air to let me know when he's ready and to tell me which "hand" he wants held. I've never had one who's liked doing that before, so I always thought it was just him.

| My Thor wraps his legs around your arm when you pick him up. DH says that is his way of hugging us

| Peanut doesn't like to be bothered when he is laying with me BUT I always do- Sometimes I bother him to the point of him leaving! Ha Ha When he is laying with me I do like to play with his paws, he will usually let me for a couple mins, then he will start jerking his paw away from me- I wont learn my lesson and will still play with his paw, then he will lift his head up and look at me, and then walk away!! HA HA

YT 1000 Club Member | And here I thought I was the only mom who was priviledge enough to rub her baby's paws! Romeo loves it when I gently rub his paws...he goes to sleep (the little stinker).

| Heidi loves to have her paw held too. Sometimes when we are on a therapy dog visit she will put her paw in their hand and let them hold it for quite a while. The little ladies at the nursing home just love it.

| That is so sweet. My Rubyboy (Rubin) does this, he also smiles. It is definately NOT a status thing or claiming me as his person. He just wants to show affection by touching me.

| No, Gracie doesn't want to hold "paws" but she usually always has to have some part of her body touching me. She is never just next to me but on me or right up against me. I did used to have a Yellow Lab that loved to put his paw on me or any other family member he could get near to. It was like he just wanted to show us that he cared. He was such a lovey boy. |

| ZoE doesn't hold paws/hands with me, but when I'm holding her, she'll put her paw on my mouth & I kiss it. Then, she pulls it away, waits a few seconds, puts her paw on my mouth again & I kiss it again. She'll repeat this over & over again. She's done this since she was a puppy.
