Donating YT 500 Club Member | I had the WORST dream last night... It was a nasty dream... My eyes are swollen today because I know when I was sleeping I was crying in my sleep. It was so awful. I was standing in the Humane Society giving up Taycie. There was a counter and I was standing there crying and the lady on the other side of the counter was holding Taycie and telling me, "We will adopt her out." In my dream I remember being hysterical. Then I woke up.. sat up in bed and looked at Taycie and started to cry.. So glad that eventually you wake up from those horrible nightmares.. That is a big relief. So.. I am holding Taycie a little closer to me today. It truly is amazing how much love I have for her!

It was horrible... I was up late last night because of the time change so I couldn't sleep and I was browsing through the Humane Society's website looking at dogs that were up for adoption... I am pretty sure that is why I had that awful dream..

| I understand how upsetting and real that could be. I recently had a nightmare about Lola getting hurt and was shook up for days after it. LOL that's when I realized reading the sick and injured pet section on YT before bed was not a good idea! So now I read the fashion section at night and dream of all the pretty little dresses

| That has to be one of the worst dreams ever! I couldn't even imagine giving up my little Henri, no one would take my furbaby from me without a fight!

| I read all the posts on YT about babies left on their own, unsupervised, in the yard, and I just cringe! That is at the top of my list of pet peeves, I guess because I have SEEN owls and hawks swooping down on my dogs with me standing within 10 feet of them! Years ago, I watched in horror as an owl carried off my little female chihuahua....absolutely horrific, and I will NEVER forget that....perhaps that accounts for my absolute refusal to allow any of my babies to be unsupervised and preach and warn every one of my new parents against it. Not to mention, PEOPLE STEAL THESE BABIES RIGHT OUT OF YOUR ARMS!! So, recently, I dreamed I was in my sun room, looking out the back window, watching my babies running around, having a ball....I was upset because I knew I should be out there with them....and all of a sudden, a huge hawk swooped up to the window, huge talons grabbing at the window where I was looking out.....I sat bolt upright in bed and screamed, as my son came to see if I was alright. Terrible dream...have to stop reading posts about unsupervised babies running around yards and neighborhoods! |

| I understand that. It breaks my heart when I see on the news that people have gave up their furbabies because they can't afford them. My husband and I had talked one evening that Bella would go into mourning if something happened to me. I told him depending on her age, we could have her put to sleep and put with me. I started crying and squeezing her. Bad when you break your own heart when you look at those beautiful brown eyes. Hope you get a better restful night tonight. |

| Ok, this must be the week for weird dreams. I too had a dream that we had given Copper to a man to keep for a number of months...We got to the place where we were going to live and I saw a dog running around. I told my husband, we have to go back and get Copper. I want him back. The rest of the dream was this weird segment of trying to get ready to go get him and hoping we could get him back. When I woke up, I had to go get Copper and snuggle him in bed. He had chosen to sleep on the bed in the office that night. He crawled right under the covers with me and we slept for another hour.

| Don't you wonder why sometimes we can just have the worst dreams? I have often wondered why that happens sometimes but thankfully I only have a really, really awful dream once every 5 years or so. Once I dreamed I woke from a deep sleep and there in the doorway I could make out the outline of a man in a sweatshirt with hoodie and he just stood there, saying nothing but I could hear him breathing, with something - I couldn't make out what it was - held in his hand. I remember freezing with fear in the dream and being completely unable to scream or even move! It seemed to go on forever. When I awoke, it was so real to me I was a total wreck. I didn't go back to sleep the rest of the night. Turned on every light in the house and got my gun out of the drawer! That stupid dream haunted me the whole next day and then I thought of it at times for the next week and I wondered if it were some type of warning - and I don't even believe in stuff like that - but that is how real that awful dream seemed. Most dreams are just that - dreams. And during some dreams I am aware it is a dream. And usually wake after dreaming with no feeling it was in any way real or real-seeming. But every once in a blue moon, you can have those that just seem so, so real. And they are usually bad dreams with me. Wonder what causes them?

| Ok, that was a scary dream. The crazy thing about dreams that seem so real is that you often feel like you can't move or run in them.

| Thankfully I've only had 3 or 4 really bad scary dreams in my whole life but they are awful when you have one! But I have had that inability to scream in a dream a few times and it is awful until you wake up.
