| Help with itchiness Hey, as most of you know Winnie got spayed on tuesday, she is doing great only she is super ITCHY and wont stop shaking and wiggling around, she's even trying to scratch her incision with her back legs, thankfullly she's not reaching. Is there anything i can do or put on her incision to make her less itchy she is so miserable.

| Can you call your vet and ask them? Prissy has not done anything about her incision. You would not even know that she had been spayed if not for the stitches. Maybe a allergic reaction to the pain med...

| I just called them and they suggested giving her some benedryl to soothe the itchies. Though now im not so sure she's itchy i think she's just whiny about the ecolar since i took it off and then she was so happy scratching her face and ears and never even went for the incision. I'll try the benedryl anyways, can't hurt. Thanx

| Those stiff collars can be really stressful on their little necks. The Benadryl might help her to sleep anyway. Hopefully she will feel better tomorrow. She how she is without the collar. |

| So i wrapped a tensor bandage around her incision, not very tight but just enough so she can't get to it, she is so much happier now, that cone was stressing her out way too much! This is great her incision can still breath and heal properly and she isn't running into everything and driving herself nuts. Love it!

| I never used one with Prissy, I did put the onsie on her the first day but after that nothing and she never attempted to bother her stitches. I hope it all works out well for her...
