HI , A LOT OF PEOPLE ON HERE USE GERBER WATER FOR INFANTS FOR THEIR YORKIES DRINKING WATER. IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH LESS MINERALS AND STUFF IN THE WATER AFTER A TIME IT MAKES THE TEAR STAINS GO AWAY. I JUST STARTED USING FOR MY OSCAR. I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Probably best to eliminate the tearing if you can. She might be tearing from teething and distilled water works on many dogs. Look for Gerber's water in the gallon to find distilled water that's safe for drinking. There are other things that cause excessive tearing, but this works for many. This site gives information on removing stains, but that part would scare me. Is the hair aways wet? Tearstains

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Water is probably one of the cheapest solutions. Do you know if your water is hard?

| I agree jeepmom I also have a shih tze who's eyes were very bad especially since he has a mis shapened one. But he needed an antibodic a few months ago and since then he has no more stains. Tootsie's are bad she even gets a kind of crust in fur in inside corner and hates to have them cleaned. |
