Hello all,

I have been lurking for quit awhile now.

I have 2 Yorkies who are rescues, a Rescue Toy Poodle and a Chiweenie. My Yorkies and Poodle all have watery eyes, 1 Yorkie gets the brown stains under her eyes. I am thrilled to read about this, I just ran out and bought 5 gallons at Walmart and switched their water out. Can't wait to see results with my 3. Thanks for the great info on this board.

Hello! Welcome! So glad you posted. I really hope the change in water helps your fur kids' eye stains My Shih Tzu had terrible brown stains, as did a few of my rescues. I have found the brown to be internal yeast. Consider using a grain free kibble. When I swiched, there was no more paw licking, ear smell or brown stains. I hope this helps a bit.

I use Innova small bites for all 4 of the babies, she Blonde/tan is the only one with the matted eye gunk, my other Yorkie who is red/black, has watery eyes but doesn't get the gunk.
