| I went inside a pet store and it totally ruined my day I was at the mall to buy some new shoes the other day and I walked past this pet store with puppies in aquariums. Don't ask me why but my curiosity got the best of me. I walked through that store knowing where those puppies probably came from and it just ruined my day. Everyone in there oooohhing and awwweeing with no idea. It was sad. I caught my self giving the people who work there nasty looks. I wondered if they knew what was on my mind. Just venting. |

| I see dog/cat cages in a pet store and my heart just starts to hurt. I think of most of the places those babies came from, their parents/ancestors awful lives and can't help but say a prayer for whether or not those little things will go to decent homes.

| It is really sad. I wish there was a way to outlaw puppy mills and pet stores. |

| And I just loved the sign on the one aquarium with an open top that said, "please dont pick up the puppies. you can pet them but be very gentle" |

| I wish that governments would make it illegal to sell pups in pet stores. That is really the only way that I can see there being an end to puppy mills. Also if the public would just do some research before buying a pup that would go a long way to ending puppy mills. Unfortunately I can't see either improving. It is SO sad. I don't deal with stores that sell puppies, I refuse to support pet stores that contribute to the abuse of animals.

| I HATE the puppy store in my mall. I can't go there anymore, because I'll be forced to walk by the store with the dogs barking and knowing where they came from...it's disgusting. The worst part is that the store allows anyone who wants to, to come in and hold these dogs. They don't even make you wash your hands. These puppies who they claim are nine weeks old who are really five and six weeks old. Can you imagine? God. It breaks my heart.

I agree. But unfortunately to most people they are just dogs and not important enough. | |

| I will not buy anything from a pet store that sells puppies. If everyone did this, maybe they would go out of business. I do not see as many pet in pet stores as I did years ago. Maybe they will eventually get the idea and put puppy mills out of business. |

| Malls love having these pet stores in their buildings because it is always a draw. People love to look at puppies and kittens and some people will even buy them with that "convenient" credit payment plan. |

| I got Brandy from a petshop.. I really didn't know much about puppy mills and stuff like that as I do now.. I find it lack of education that people buy puppies from a pet shop.. question: " are all puppies from a pet shop from puppy mills?" I don't mean to sound crazy or anything. When I got Brandy from the shop the only thing I could think of was poor baby.. I wanted nothing more then to give her a forever home..was that wrong of me?
