Okk... so we have a lil five month old that loves kisses just like any other puppy... when she jumps up & gets me on the lips for a quick smootch it's cute & doesn't bother me at all.... but my gf has no problem with laying there & making out with her for 30 seconds at a time & it freaks me out a little.... especially after I just read a post titled " my dog eats Poop"...LOL... My question is this... can you get sick from this???? or is this normal... maybe i'm overreacting

I can't say what's 'normal', per se, but I'm a total kisser w/ my furkids. I can't help it! It may gross some people out, but, it is what it is. I don't do it in front of guests, but I do in front of my hubby - of course, he understands bc he's a yorkie-maker-outer too

well mine kisses by licking right up my nose....yes i know but he doesnt understand that is gross. hehe. i have not gotten sick and cedric has not yet.."knock on wood" ate any poopies that i know of. i keep my cat box in a gated room.

I let my two give me kisses. I don't think that's abnormal. If it makes me weird, then so be it

For some reason Callie never cleans her privates ( I have to use a baby wipe every night) and she doesn't eat her own poo so I have no problem letting her give me a kiss but if Callie licked her privates and ate poo I would not because that's gross but I don't think you can get sick from it.

Same here mine never lick their butts so I dont worry about getting sick. We let them kiss us a little bit but not the crazy Im gonna kiss you on the mouth for 10 mins. Jewely likes to lick inside your ear and that drives my Husband nuts he dont like that

Georgie is the same way! He will sit for 10 minutes licking my husbands nose LOL. I know to some it's weird but add us to the list of weirdos we love Georgie's kisses

Now I let the dogs share my ice cream cone and my Hubby thinks that is weird and my brother in law said I was going to get a tapeworm from my dogs for doing it

We give our kisser Heartworm Plus, and it kills worms that dogs can pass to humans, so I don't really worry, I tend to kiss with my mouth closed, but Joey must be part French, cause he loves to use his tongue!

Callie loves ears if she can get to them. If I am on the floor she will get on the love seat behind me and wham she is licking my ear lol it feels icky so I don't let her do it.

I think my Romeo is the only Yorkie who does not "kiss". He will however sniff my entire face, paying particular attention to the eyes, before doing his "foof" and walking away. He does roll over on his back and let me kiss his cheeks, his chest and his tummy (much like a human baby).
