| Thank you for being a caring person and an animal lover. Not everyone in this world was blessed with such qualities. I, myself have taken in strays and spent time driving around trying to find their owners. I have always succeeded in finding their home. Before I found my furbaby, I responded to an ad in the local newspaper about a 3-legged Yorkie that needed someone to love him regardless of his handicap. I, of course was willing to take on that responsibility. When I called I reached an elderly woman who had found the dog wandering near a highway. She took him in and took him to the vet. She too had posted ads to find the owner with no such luck. She kept him for a while and then her doctor told her she was going to be admitted to a nursing home and couldn't take her new friend with her. So she opted to find him a loving home. Well, bless this poor woman's heart. When I called she talked to me forever and cried and my heart went out to her. When she placed this final ad, she did not get the normal response you would expect to receive. Instead she was alarmed at night time with some forceful knocks on her door. She lives alone and refused to answer the door. They announced themselves as the local police. She informed them they would need to come back during the day. So they did, and they demanded she return the dog to it's rightful owner who was there with them. She said the lady only had pictures of a dog that was a puppy. So it was hard to be for sure that they were talking about the same dog. So, after a threat of going to the police station did the elderly lady turn over the dog. She said the dog coward down to the lady and just shook uncontrollably. She said she cried and cried when the lady drove off with the precious dog. She knew that she couldn't keep him but she also knew the other lady didn't deserve the dog also. Thank goodness I have never been up against that kind of treatment. I don't think it would deter me though from helping out the helpless. Again, thanks for taking in that precious baby.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | You're a very good person. I cannot believe that he's developed those problems at such a young age. His owners did probably dump him because of his medical problems. Poor guy! Glad that he's getting the love and care that he needs and deserves! Bless you!

| I'm glad you found him and he has someone to love and care for him. I won't judge about how he got there. I know many yorkies are stolen and found later in bad condition, if they are found at all. |

| You Have a WONDERFULLY BIG HEART!! :) You have done such a wonderful thing by taking in San-Dee ! Not to mentionn that you have taken the little fellow to the vet ! I might sound crazy but it's still possible he just got lost, you never know Please I have lost a dog and I know how it feels to not know were your dog is .. Just because he has health issues does not mean that his previous owners did not take care of him, you have no way of knowing what prior vet or vet care he may have been under. I am glad he found you or that you have found him ! you a exceptional for that but please do make an effort to reunite this fello with his family ( IF THEY DIDN"T DUMP HIM!!) Good Luck |
