| I know you will miss your beautiful Tina when the time comes, and you also will love her forever. I think with the dementia you experience more than one loss. With Ashley we first had to mourn all of the changes in her personality, but fortunately she always remained very loving and attached to us. I don't know if she knew we were her mom and dad, but she knew we loved her and she loved us. I didn't think it was possible to love her more than we already did, but we couldn't love her more. I know how difficult it is to care for Tina and to keep her safe, and I also know how difficult it is to agonize over whether you are doing what's best for her. I understand, care, and am here if you need my help.
