Tink's big day! I dropped her off at the vet this morning. She's getting spayed, having retained puppy teeth removed and a microchip. I'm a nervous wreck! As the tech was carrying her back she was struggling to get back to Mama She's my special baby! Hubby says I spoil her too much. LOL I can't wait to pick her up tonight.

I really think that it is worse than leaving your kid for the first day at kindergarten! I had a terrible time leaving Gracie to have her spayed. The girls are very nice at that office but Gracie didn't care. It is a trying couple of days but she will be fine. They recover so quickly. I think it is us who suffer more.

Tink's home!!! Her surgery went well and she needed two puppy teeth pulled. Which they sent home with me. She's quite groggy but happy to be home. She's sleeping right now.

Glad to hear she is home with you. It seems so strange to see them so tired and in need of care. Enjoy it while you can. She will be up and at it before you know it!

Tink kept trying to lick her stitches last night regardless of Bitter Apple. So, I let her sleep in bed with me and she did really well. This morning, I hit Target and bought some baby onsies and put one on her. She doesn't really like it but it keeps her away from her stitches and avoids the Cone of Shame...LOL BTW-Thanks to YT for the onsies idea...I read it here! She is much more lively this morning. Ate some breakfast and is wanting to play a little bit. I gave her the pain med the vet sent home with her.
