| ![]() Most likely she will not ADD color much unless she has something like "ticking" that you can see on her skin. Some Biewers have spots that seem to "come in" as they mature.. there are visable spots on their skin when they are young and then their coat gets the 'spot" later on. I personally do not have any dogs that do this, however, I have heard that some do.. Although the Biewer started out with the Belted/banded pattern, there are many now that have the random spotting of the Piebald or extreme piebald patterning and look very much like many would think the AKC Parti would look. It's the Piebald gene (random spotting) that causes the spotting, and unless you are diligent in breeding for a specific look.. you will not get it. -Diana ![]()

| ![]() Carol.. Many people think the white is the most beautiful part! When the dogs have a good coat that's nice and healthy, the white is the most silky and shiny.. and just sparkles in the sun. There are many who prefer more white and less color. As long as there is color on the ears and around the eyes.. health wise, there should be no issues. -Diana ![]()

| ![]() Hey, this is Yorkie Talk, not the AKC! We have a Yorkie, who has "papers" stating that she came from "champion" lineage, but I feel that the entire registration process is one that can be faked so easily, that it really doesn't matter. Unless you're into breeding and showing, the little rascals just steal your heart and no one cares much about their pedigree, as long as they're healthy and well-adjusted. I think 60 Minutes, or 20/20, or something similar did a story some time ago about someone who registered their cat as a dog with the AKC, so nothing's infallible. I think my Graysee is more of a Silky than a Yorkie, but I can't prove it, and at this point, I don't really care! BTW: your doggies are beautiful! ![]() |
