|  I read on another thread that you should never remove an elastic band from the topknot by pulling it out. Carefully cutting through it will help keep their hair from breaking off and will preserve their coat. I use a pair of curved cuticle scissors. Take your time, slip the point of the scissors between the elastic rounds and give a snip. Before you cut it, though, double check that you only have the elastic band between the blades of the scissors, not any of their hair. |
