YT 2000 Club Member | Jazzies Bloodwork Results I meant to post this earlier today, but I've had so much on my mind that I totally forgot. I got the call from the doctor today, Jazzies bloodwork results are good, so she's all clear for her surgery. She's going in to be spayed on the 17th. Nervous as heck and can't wait for it to just be done and over with. I asked him if he'd mind putting a stitch or two in Jazzies incision after using the surgical glue. We've not had much luck with our girls and them being spayed. Both Mags and Gracie split open 2 days after surgery and had to go back in and be closed again. I didn't let them up running around, wouldn't let them jump or anything, and still, the incisions came open. Since her surgery is on a Friday, I was nervous that if it came open over the weekend, I wouldn't be able to take her in to our doc, so, he said he'll certainly put a stitch or two in for good measure.

| Cedric will be in the same day to get neutered. We can panic all day together. I know boys are less invasive but I'm still worried sick. Hope it flies by for both of us....good luck.

| Oh I do so understand about the incision coming open over the weekend! It happened to us with a Shep/Lab, and we were so worried...took her to the ER on Sunday and back to her vet on Monday. We thought they'd stitch her, but they (ER) didn't even put a butterfly over it! Fortunately, we had some and put them on ourselves til we could take her back to her vet...as 'they' advised...first thing Monday morning. I couldn't believe the lack of concern for my baby girl. I hope there are no issues for you this time and certainly not for Jazzie! Our best wishes to you and Jazzie for everything to go perfectly and that you have no need to stress or worry.
