| That is terrible but the fact that it took the owner a few days to notice it is pretty terrible too.

| I can't believe people take their pets to Petco and Petsmart anyway. There are always nightmare stories out there about them.

| I'm just thankful that I have an excellent groomer. I'm moving soon but I'm willing to drive far to stay with this groomer after all the horror stories I've heard. |

| How do you not notice your dogs ear looks funny? And a piece is missing? How did they severe the tail? I get my girls nails cut at Petco and Petsmart because it is a blood bath when I try to cut their nails myself. They are angels at the groomers about their nails though. I have even taken them to a grooming school for their nails. I did have Cozy groomed once at Petco she was matted badly to the skin in some areas when I got her from the breeder and was nervous to buzz her myself. I also wanted her first experience with a buzzer and scissor to not be with nervous mommy. When I made the appt. I made sure it was during a "slow time" for them. 1 groomer held Cozy while the other one worked. They were very careful with her. I did not care what she ended up looking like at that point I just wanted it to be a good experience for her.

| I have been grooming for almost 10 years now and thankfully NO horror stories. I have cut nails too short, but thats not a horror story. I would never ever take my dogs to petco or petsmart!!!!!! Scary, i do shop there tho, and i have seen dogs left on grooming tables alone, with the noose around their neck and NO ONE anywere in the room |

| Great now people are scared to converse with me awesome.......... I just mean accidents probably happen with every groomer but how they handle it is what really matters but I guess that wouldn't really be a nightmare then just an accident.

| No, honey, don't read into what she said. I groom myself just b/c I hate how the groomers cut Baby's face. I never took her to a "chain" groomer, though. My aunt takes her Yorkie to Petco, and she loves it. I just do it myself...if you want to call what I do "groom." I call it, chopping. LOL

| pet smart "UGH" MY daughter took her yorkie last year to be groomed, which she always did. An older customer told her i was holding that beautilf yorkie while they did my chi,s nails. needless to say it was my daughters yorkie. Made her upset she talked to the manager who thought it was no big deal.Since then she has found a private groomer whom she likes a lot. Sorry to ramble but she does not trust Pet smart now. Taleigh could of jumed out of that ladies arms since she is a jumper. Thanks for the rant. Mugwee1 Pa. |
