| Pineapple & Poop I've done searching and found that some people say to use a spoon of pineapple if they are eating their poop. Is it fresh pineapple or canned cunk pineapple??? I have a 4 month old and she only does it once in a while but i want her to stop all together. Thank you all |

| I too have little poop eaters. TJ is an 'everyday' poop eater and Roxy is an occational poop eater. I have tried the following with NO SUCCESS!!!!!!! Forbid Deter Pineapples ACCENT I am now trying Brewer's Yeast Tablets. I had one day of NO POOP eating from both of them and the next day they were back to eating it. I am going to try the tabs for a week and hopefully it will work....IF NOT....I already ordered 'Solid Gold - Stop Poop Eating' I HATE IT SO MUCH.... Last edited by TLC; 12-02-2005 at 10:39 AM. | I don't know if this is true, but I've read that part of the problem is that there is something lacking in the diet. Maybe feeding a wider range of foods and supplementing their diet with daily multivitamins would help. That is just something I've read. Luckily, I've never encountered the problem. However, I have also read that they outgrow this, so I guess there is hope.

| I've heard that it is the good food that they can still smell and that is why they eat it. I will have to try the Brewer's Yeast since I already have it. I just haven't started the pups on it yet. I will today though. |

| i just re-read my first sentence - LOLOL that is pretty funny sounding . i talked to my vet and i asked him about the lack of vitamin or something of that sort and he said no its not. My problem with giving her pineapple is she's never had table food before and i dont want that to be a problem. I guess I'll try and see what happens. I didnt want to try deter because i didnt want to give her a pill everyday. |
