| Louie is acting weird.... Has anyone ever seen this? Louie had a Dental done on Friday, and since then he has been acting like a different dog. He used to come and sit with us on the couch or curl up in my husband's lap. He came to us for petting and playing and whatnot as well, but now he just seems to ignore us. When I'm at work, he seems to look for me constantly and totally ignore my husband, but when we are both at home, he ignores both of us. He has even started acting like he is a little scared of us when we try to pet him. Has anyone ever seen this? Any ideas of how we can get him back to his happy little self? He is currently on antibiotics, if that has any bearing on the situation. Apparently they give them to all the dogs after they have a dental. Thanks in advance for any advice!

| Hmm, I'm not expert and I am GUESSING here. Could the antibiotics be upsetting his tummy a little? Could he be scared you will take him back to the big bad vet? I'd think once the meds are done and he "forgets" about his surgery he should be back to normal. Again, my non-expert-guessing opinion.

| That's kind of what I am hoping. I just hoped someone else had seen this and could ease my worry . I loved it when he followed us around and wanted to be with us all the time. This makes me think he's depressed or something...

| This makes me feel a little better. Hopefully, he'll forget about the vet visit and remember that he loves us soon! I know DH is just really saddened by the whole thing, because he's used to his childhood dog, who followed him around everywhere he went, and now Louie acts like he just doesn't even want to interact with him at all and it hurts his feelings .
