Hmm, I'm not expert and I am GUESSING here. Could the antibiotics be upsetting his tummy a little? Could he be scared you will take him back to the big bad vet? I'd think once the meds are done and he "forgets" about his surgery he should be back to normal. Again, my non-expert-guessing opinion.
