| I am always asking everyone who comes in. does the house smell like dogs. I guess I am just concerned that because I live with it, I may get use to it.

| About the only time I smell that dog smell is when Sakura comes inside from playing outside. It usually goes away after a while. My dad is always telling me she smells like a dog but I don't know if he does that to annoy me or not. Nobody else has ever commented on her smelling bad. I try to give her a weekly bath so she won't be stinky. To me she has her own smell. My Aunt's basset has a dog smell no matter how many times I bathe her. My little sister's pointer/collie mix has the same smell too. While my co-workers toy poodles and chi don't. Less dog to smell for the little ones? I'm glad yorkies don't really have that dog smell or I would be forced to bathe and spray Sakura more. =D |

| I am very paranoid about the dog smell and owning dogs my whole life I am NOT immune to it. And now that we've added a larger dog to the house I am really sensitive about "the smell." When I am home I turn on my Scentsy Warmers and any funk is gone in minutes and replaced by the sweet smell of scentsy here. Now that I sell Scentsy my house will never smell like dogs again bwahahahaha ;-) Good luck to you in finding a solution that works for you and your family. I you have questions about Scentsy, feel free to ask. :-)

As far as I know, my home doesn't smell like the much dreaded "dirty dog" smell. I hope my home never does.

| Aw man, I sure hope my house doesn't have that smell. But I'm really sensitive to smells, so I'm always doing whatever I can to avoid having that problem.

I constantly walk around with my black light and odo-ban to make sure there's nothing I might have missed. I also soak my potty pads, so there's no odor (think cloth diaper pail) and them wash them. Dogs get a bath every week, and all blankets and bedding gets washed on the sanitize cycle. I turn off the neater/AC, all the fans etc and leave the house for several hours, to see if I notice any smells when I come back-it drives my husband nuts, bug I dont ever want my house to smell.

| Scentsy has a room spray called Odor-Out and it works wonders on eliminating pet odor (not permanently if urine or bacteria is not cleaned) best bet is to clean stains with a great cleaner, vacuum consistany, carpet clean on occasion and have a great way to scent your home (boil cinnamon and orange rind, scentsy warmer, fabreeze, a candle, baking cookies hehe, dryer sheets in closets also help) Good luck!! :-)

| I use a carpet cleaner every 6mths,vinegar on the rest of the floors. Inbetween I use a capet powder atleast once on the rug that everyone walks on,especially the dogs. Frebreeze is also a wonderful product. We do have one dog that smells like a little boy that has been outside playing hard when he comes inside. I work very hard to make sure that our home doesnt have any smell. Noone has ever made a comment,so Im hoping that our home doesnt have a doggie smell, but with 5 dogs it is a constant job. |
