| Finally a solution I thought I would share my idea with anyone who is experiencing the problems I am with hardwood floors and dogs sliding on them. I have two dogs with problems walking on our hardwood floors. My Yorkie has bad knees and has had surgery on his hip for legg perthes. He slips so much on the floor that he is much happier spending his days on my bed. I also have a king charles cavalier and she also slides all over the floor when she tries to walk. My mom has fallen with horrific consequences so she now uses a walker. I just can't put down rugs and risk another *fall. I have tried every kind of shoe/boot made and they just don't seem to work for them. I bought socks for them and they seemed to tolerate them much better than boots but they still would slide on the floors if the socks got twisted and the non-slip areas got on the top of their feet rather than on the bottom. I bought some super grip spray from amazon and heavily sprayed the entire socks for both of them. I am thrilled that finally they are both able to walk and even run on the hardwood floors without falling and slipping. My little Yorkie just loves being sure footed on the slippery wood floors. Here's the link to the product I bought. I am sure any hardware store would have it. Non Skid Coating – Super Grip – Plasti Dip International |

| I'm so glad that Widgett and Abby can run and play without slipping and sliding on your floors. You are such a devoted, loving mom to all of your babies.

Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Thank you Jackie for this thread Oh Jackie that is wonderful news to hear about this product. So glad you found it. Jo Ann's has a product to put onto the bottom of rugs it is rubberized in a large tub, it has to be brushed on. I use to put it onto the bottom of slippers I knitted. Will check this out that you got sounds GREAT amd easier to apply. I would love to put wood floors in cause I am so sick of carpet, with allergies it is terrible but I have held off on doing the other of fear for Jack. Please tell your Mom hi for me so thankful to hear she is doing real good. You are such a special lady to us both, we appreciate all your kindness we're both so Blessed with your thoughtfullness. Thank you Jackie for all you do. Love and Hugs from us both, Patti and Jack |
