| -I REALLY need advice and SOON! please I currently have 2 inside dogs. A 2 yr old yorkie (huxtyn) and a 1 yr old silkypoo (halle). Huxtyn broke his leg about a yr ago, and walks with a limp Halle is very very hyper active and is always biting, jumping, taking his toys away from him. I feel really bad, he can't move fast enough to defend himself. Huxtyn also does not get to spend as much time with us, becuase Halle howls so much we cannot take her to hotel rooms, or family homes. And we don't want to leave just one dog at home with my bfs family. Hux doesnt get to sleep in bed with us anymore either (because halle always howls if she is alone). And if we try putting her in bed with us as well, she jumps off. I just really miss spending time with Hux I do think it would be best if Halle could find another home, as much as it breaks my heart, but I think it would be best for Hux. I need advice on what to do, if anyone out there has any suggestions, please post. |

| Is your bed big enough that you could put a small crate on it to put the naughty one in at bed time ? Or put a crate next to your bed. |

My bed is not. I could put their crate closer to bed, but she howls the whole time if shes alone. We tride putting them in separate kennels for the first 8 months, and she howled constantly! | |

| She sounds like a very hyper little girl. Maybe the Vet. could put her on something that would help calm her down. Maybe re-homing her with a family where she would be the only dog would be better for you and her. If you do decide to go that route, make sure the prospective adopters are checked out with their Vet. and a home check. Also never give for free. That could be a fatal mistake. Never put on Craigs list.........too many scammers on there. You could sign her over to a Silky or Poodle rescue if you know of a reputable one. Lots of good folks on here have helped other people find homes for their dogs, so you could put the word out for help. Maybe they could even get a relay started to transport her. Just some thoughts.

| Maybe with some behavior modification / training Halle could better understand what is expected of her and become a good companion Huxtyn.
