What is it about a Yorkie?

There are lots of reasons that yorkies melt hearts. Their small size (life-long puppy), expressive brown eyes, personality, cute little fur-butts. And I don't know about all your pups, but Oz runs like a little Arabian stallion... like he is always running for the first prize ribbon at the dog show. No shedding!! They love cuddles and they just want to be with you all the time. They're smart, too! Now that I've lived with a yorkie I don't think I'll ever live without one.

I honestly LOVE my yorkie to DEATH! He is just the sweetest thing ever! I have had a few other small dogs, but nothing compares. My bf, who was not fond of sm dogs loves are yorkie. Its kinda funny he is always telling huxtyn "You da man!" Love it!

I am loving all the answers in this thread.

I love having Trixie as my constant companion...she never tires of just being with me.

I love her sweet but spunky personality. I love how she is always on alert for anything going on in and out of the house.

I love being woken up in the morning by either her paw on my face or her nose on my nose...and who doesn't love all those yorkie kisses!

Those chocolate brown eyes just melt my heart. She is just so excited every time she see me...even if I just went outside to throw out the trash.

They just steal your heart.

I love all these answers and find my self smiling and agreeing with all the reasons. Their sweet furry faces and soulful eyes, their spunky attitude when telling you what they want, their little butts up in the air and their tail wagging when they invite you to play, their soft little furry necks so perfect for mommy kisses, how comforting they feel when they snuggle up against you. Buster loves to wiggle around until he finds the most comfortable position and then he gives a sigh of contentment which just melts my heart. From the tip of their ears to the tip of their tails Yorkies are love pure and simple.
