| I feel bad for his dog.... That rottie is put through the embarrassment of seeing his owner make an ass out of them both every day. THAT is why pets attack their humans, not your dressing your baby up. Next, tell him you'll call the cops for harassment!!! |

| Maybe that nutty guy was just jealous that he couldn't dress his dog!

| Wow, that's creepy that he may be sitting in the parking lot waiting for small dogs and their owners to go in. You are like me, I wouldn't have anything to say at the time it happened but would have plenty to say 2 minutes after he left. At least you know when you go to PetSmart again this may happen and you will be prepared for him.

| Next time he confronts you tell him "at least I don't have to have a big dog to compensate for the size of my _____" you can fill in any thing you want. I dislike people like that. They are just a grown up bully..... Sorry moderators if you want to remove feel free to do so...I had to get it off my chest.

| I am so sorry you had to experience such an ignorant person! So ridiculous! Here is a funny for you and I hope it makes you smile. The other day we took Piper to the vet for her vaccination. We brought Teddy along with us. I swear we must have gotten stopped at least 10 times. When we got home my fiance turns to me and says, "our dogs are rockstars!". He seriously LOVES them to death. He grew up with a GS and neve thought he would ever be a small dog person. And now we have two and he wouldn't want it any other way.

| Southernbell04, I know how you feel, I've been there. Ugh! Envy is ugly, but when it's directed at an innocent Yorkie from a grown person, it gives it an entirely new meaning...mental problems. If that men is stalking furbaby parents, do the 180 and keep away. It's not worth it, he may be wanting someone to put him out of his misery. The coward can't do it himself ![]() I encounter a woman with a few kids (they looked dirty and with limited funds) and she asked me, annoyed from her tone, 'why do you people insist on treating them like children and why do you spoil them?' My answer with an even more annoyed tone was, 'BECAUSE WE CAN!!!' Then I went on to tell her how my babies are not on welfare, so they're NOT being fed, dressed or educated by no one but myself and their daddy I realized after a few of these encounters that it's just envy stemming from their personal demons. People blame you for their shortcomings instead of putting the blame where it belongs. And then they take it out on our babies! They are miserable, poor excuses for humans and taking up waaaay to much space

| lol, wow, sometimes people just have nothing better to do. Wasting their time and bugging other people. I just don't understand it. I have a hard time harassing someone when they deserve it let alone when there is no reason for it.

| I have had similar comments made to me with Remy. On of my dd, who think I have a screw loose to dress Remy and such, gets very upset when the comments are made. Her point is, why..it was not any of his buisness!! I have another dear friend who thinks I have more than a screw loose.. but he is so happy for me because Remy, Sammy, and Bailey make me smile. He said if putting a sweather on my dog makes me smile he will buy more sweathers!!!! I would also like to add. I know a lot of people who have big dogs. They are left outside in all kinds of weather (of course in Miami that mean heat mostly) and are lonely. I have seen the dogs act like they are starved for attention. I much rather have my three furkids who are hugged and loved and received good food and vet care. I am not saying all big dog owners are like that.. but the quality of dog care is not related to the size of the dog!! Try not to take it personal, and I would stay away from the jerk. Small minds are dangerious.

I was shocked that a volunteer for rescued cats, at one of those 'adopt a rescue days' at Petsmart, went after my little boy Nicky. She shush him, stamped her feet loudly and yelled for Nicky not to get near the cats! The cats were up on cages and not in danger of being touched by Nicky. Most of the cats were bigger than Nicky and he knows better than to get too close (he had an experience with an angry cat already) but he still likes cats. After I recuperated from my shock and noticed how Nicky wanted desperately to live the store and avoid this woman, I approached her to let her know what the ramifications of her treatment of my baby would be and I dared her to try it again, this time I was ready for her . Long story short, I didn't bring it up to Petsmart management because I figure she's volunteering for those poor cats and so I gave her a pass after I put the fear of God into her. Management brought it up to me. Apparantly, another customer witness the entire thing and complaint to the manager. I explained the incident to the manager and warned him that I would not be responsible for my own actions if that woman bullied my 6 lbs. furchild again. Later, I was told by an employee that the lady I had this problem with, was a "cat person" and disliked dogs What????? The lady hasn't been back to Petsmart, that I know of. Which is a good thing because I felt so guilty after I reacted soooo slowly when my baby was bullied in my presense, that I was just aching for another crack at it ![]() I guess Petsmart took care of this problem for me because she was, in a sense, a guest (?) in their store, but if she had been a customer, I doubt they could have done anything (???) I wish they could keep the weirdos away
