| We have laws on the books to keep our children restrained in special car seats in order to prevent them from becoming a projectile during a car accident or even in the event of simply having to apply the brakes quickly. Don't you think people would be smart enough to realize that their pets should also enjoy the same protection? |

| They knew they were going out to celebrate a birthday. Why didn't they leave the dogs at home. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Poor babies. Bless those firefighters. My son is a firefighter and I say, Way to go!!!! BYW, I think the dogs should be took away from them. Wonder if they would have left small children back there. Hope they don't have any. Sounds like they have no smarts. |

| CA recently passed a law that no pets can be left in the car unattended. It used to be on too hot or too cold days, but now it's nada. Ever. Still waiting on the restraints though. On trucks, they have to be tied on a V. Both my furbabies are in carseats. Including the cat.
