To the OP, I use "dangly" tag. It's just one though so it doesn't bother him/me or make a lot of jingly noises. I got ours from Fetching Tags. ![]()

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | ![]() I use dingle ones that I get from the pet store. (thin aluminum) You type in what you want it to say and it inscribes it right there. Or my vet can do it right in the office, either on back of the rabies tag or on a new one. I just switch the 0 ring that are quite small with key rings because they are much sturdier.

| ![]() I use the dangly kind here as well. They have their Rabies, City tag and I'd tag. It's overkill I'm sure but I'd be lost if something happened to my babies. But I like to hear the jingle of them. Let's me keep track of them. ![]() |

| ![]() Gracie has a pretty pink ID tag with a pink butterfly on it. It dangles from a little tiny key chain like metal thing. She also has a little bell on her collar. I would never think of letting her not have her ID tag on. If something unexpected happened what chance would your dog have? Thieves don't care about a micro chip. If someone finds you dog they are not going to be able to scan it right away. Gracie has a chip too but I'm so glad she has her ID tag on. I often wonder about these very friendly dogs that have been found with no ID. They may very well have once belonged to someone who was never able to find them because of one brief unexpected event that allowed the dog to become lost. |

| ![]() We have a red dingo tag too and it dangles. Ginger also wears a tiny cat bell so I can keep up with her.

| ![]() We use a boomerang tag and love it. Sugar is microchipped but she is always wearing her breakaway collar. You never know when she could get out accidentally and I feel better having my contact info readily available ![]() Boomerang Tags ![]()

| ![]() When Gracie was about 9 months old I put her in my daughters bedroom while the cable guy was there working on a problem. She just had to be in the middle of where he was working so I thought I would get her out of his way. Well, at some point my daughter let her out of the bedroom and apparently Gracie slipped out the door when the cable guy went out to get another part. I had no idea. Thankfully, when the cable guy left he spotted Gracie up by the road (we live quite some distance from the road) and he came back and knocked on the door with her in his hand. I about passed out. It still makes me shiver to think what could have happened. Never assume your dog can never get away from you. Always keep an ID tag on them. |
