| ![]() Have you noticed how a handler in a show keeps the attention of their dog that is being shown at that time? They use hot dogs or liver treats and hold them in their hands but do not let the dog actually have a "treat" but a nibble. That is the way you can eep the dogs' attention til you can reach out and pick it up. The tear thing can be clogges naso-lacrimal ducts. Those are the wee holes in the inside corner of the eye that drains excess lubricant into the nose of humans and dogs..Ask your vet to check the eyes with flouricine dye to see it tears show up in their nose..if not, those ducts are clogged or not formed. The vet can flush them when another procedure such as spaying and dentals are being done. It is a routine with my dogs....This might help your problem.. |

| ![]() Thanks for the advice everyone. After I wipe her eye buggers it still smells bad. I think I will take her to the vet and get that flouricine checked out. As for the barking I do not want to use food because I do not want her to get the wrong idea that im rewarding her for barking. I have not tried the bottle but it's hard to carry the bottle everywhere I go. But I will give it a shot. Thanks |
