| ![]() Did you feed her or did she drink a lot of water before you went to the vet? Sometimes things like that make a big difference in their weigh ins when they go to the vet. :] Its happened plenty of times with Lilo where she just decides to drink a ton of water before we go and she gains an extra few ounces. LOLThey're so small so things like this can make a difference. If not that, I know a lot of puppies have early or late growth spurst. ![]() |

| ![]() She is a doll , so she gain a little weight. :') My furbabies were 1.6 when I got them, 3 weeks later , she was 2.4 and he is 3.0 lbs. They're 14 weeks now, he eats more than her and they play around the same. I'm not worry, I feel them what the vet told me too. I give them 2 cups of food a day , they eat together so I don't know how much each eat. Sometime pups may or may not weight around the same as their parents , but allot will . I guess you will have to wait and see how big or little she will be. She will be just as cute !!!! I heard if you got it from a good breeder they will be better to ask , since they know more about the pups parents and grandparents, Since they breed them. Just don't do what I did , when I got my first yorkie girl and went out and got 3 different bags for her and cloths, she out grew everything so I save everything and use it on Max and now on reirei and rudy. Congrats ! and Good Luck !!!

| ![]() thanks everyone,my familys been joking calling her string bean because she grew so quick LOL I really don't care about how big she'll be,I guess I'll just have to wait and see ![]() And Manina too late about not doing what you did! LOL I alrady have her a whole clothing rack of clothes for when she's an adult, i assumed she'd be around 5lbs, so they;re all xs clothes LOL,if she outgrows them..then i have even more reason to get her a little sister...haha... thanks though everyone for letting me know that its not abnormal for my baby to have a growth spurt around this age.. |

| ![]() Princess leveled off right around one year at 6.9lbs. every time. Then...she slowly added more. She was last at 9.4 at just 2yrs. but she may have added a little more. I know you'll love your girl no matter what, but just in case you're wondering, she's still small & very portable at 9lbs., not to mention super loveable. ![]()

| ![]() We had a similar "shock" with Brew. Mom was 6lbs and dad was 4lbs. we got him at 8 weeks (i know now thats eeek...but i found yorkie talk after ![]() not to say that your sweetie will get that big, but just to show that the parents don't always give a look to the future. i had a 3.6lb yorkiepoo who lived past 14 years old and i must say it's MUCH less stressfull having a more robust pup around. he still sits/fits in my lap!! and it's just all the more Yorkie to love ![]() |
