Name dilema I have had my male yorkie for only 4 days and I am doubting the name my son gave him..lol He called him Cujo..The more I see of his personality,it just doesn't seem to fit. I am leaning more toward Mugsy, but the men in the house are fighting me..lol.. He is a "teacup size" puppy and they think Cujo is funny..I want cute How long did it take for you to set on a name? New photo..My cat wants to be friends so bad!!..lol

| Lol I was just about to do a name post too I like cujo for the simple fact that it's an oxymoron But mugsy is cute too and still sounds "gansta" like a mob boss lol. What about Capone?

Poochi, Yoshi, Maximus, I'm bad with names unless I get to know a dog first.

you could relent and call him Joe as a "nickname" that will probably stick and won't confuse the pup.

Our Bubba wasn't Bubba for a week He was Diesel, db Copper, Rossi, finally started using Bubba, (Bubba, Bubba Blue, Bubba Bear, all work for us). It has stuck. His AKC docs will read Bubba Blue Bear. Try names out, see what his personality is like. If nothing else you can tell the your son and dh that Cujo rhymes with "No" and generally speaking you should avoid names that sound like commands. I like the irony of big sounding names on little dogs, but its tougher to use them in baby talk for me
