Our Bubba wasn't Bubba for a week
He was Diesel, db Copper, Rossi, finally started using Bubba, (Bubba, Bubba Blue, Bubba Bear, all work for us). It has stuck. His AKC docs will read Bubba Blue Bear.

If nothing else you can tell the your son and dh that Cujo rhymes with "No" and generally speaking you should avoid names that sound like commands. I like the irony of big sounding names on little dogs, but its tougher to use them in baby talk for me
