I have put my name in for the yorkie but as you know that means nothing they may find someone without another dog more suitable for her senior years after all she is 12 years old.

It is good for her to have contact with others than just her vet and the shift caregivers. She will discover not everyone is cruel.

I can't stop crying reading this. I am sitting on the floor holding Sophie, Ziggy and Bear. I just cannot understand this! How could someone let this happen to her??? I can't imagine how hard it must be to see her in person in that condition. When I got Bear last week he was soooo matted to his skin. I was crying while I was trying to cut them out. I knew he was in pain. It broke my heart that he was in this condition. This poor little girl is in the best place right now thank goodness and getting the care she deserves. It was so sweet of you to comfort her. I pray that you will be able to adopt her very soon. She deserves someone special like you.

I'm truly sorry for making you cry. I've been in shock about this. I can't believe she was even alive when you think about it. They did tell she wouldn't have lasted more than a day. She's a fighter and has the will to live that much you can tell from what she has been through. We worry that our little yorkies get cold. This is Canada and has been -9 F out. She was cold

Don't be sorry. I just have a very sensitive spot in my heart for animals. I can't believe I let myself look at her picture because I knew it would upset me. I also have tears of joy because you have given her some comfort and love which she truly needs and deserves. I can only imagine how you feel inside. When Michelle, aka jadabug posted Bears picture on here last Tuesday night from the online Facebook yard sale, I wanted to go and rescue him right then, and he wasn't in the shape that this poor little girl you are helping is in. I wanted to help him and would've driven to the other side of the U.S. If I had to! I was so worried about where he might end up. I thank my lucky stars that it worked out and he's mine now.

I will be praying very hard for this little girl's full recovery. Thank you for showing her some love.

God bless you! I've said a prayer for this poor little yorkie. I can't believe that people can abuse and mistreat animals as if they can't feel pain, sadness, etc. It just breaks my heart.

You are a very special person to go and visit this baby and bring her a toy and a blanket. These babies don't ask for much....just love. Your courage is commendable. To sit with her and sing to her. To try to bring some joy in her life. Bless you!!

I think she is the worse case of neglect/abuse I have seen. I am praying she makes a full recovery and can spend the rest of her life being loved and spoiled like she should have all along. Bless you for going to see her and show her all humans aren't evil. I hope you can get her.
