tough little yorkie... not sure most of us would have lasted so long. Its disgusting what some humans can do; not sure you can classify someone like this as a human. How can a person look at that and not feel the pain that little girl has endured. I hope that after a good recovery this little girl gets to spend the remainder of her life with some love, affection and all the toys and food she can handle. No doubt she as earned the right to get good and fat 12 years old? One can only hope that she did not spend all 12 of those years as miserable as she looks now.

Isn't it attrocious. I have written to Durham Humane society to find out how my friends and I can donate to help pay for her medical bills. No response yet

I'm curious what makes you think she is a yorkie mix ? So the vets don't know she's a mix,but you looking at her in her worse possible moments say she is a mix ? I don't get it and frankly it annoyed me.

She was found on my birthday, so yeah some birthday wishes do get answered!
I cannot beleive the state this poor dog was in-pure bred Yorkie or not-she does look like a golden Yorkie (chocolate golden or whatever you all it) nevertheless pure Yorkie or not.
Well actually she looks like a messed up long haired chihuahua in the first pic to be honest.

Well I want to thank all of you who showed genuine concern for this little girl. You focused on her needs,Her well being. There are a couple posts I can not tolorate and wont. Focusing on something so stupid. I am going to ask administrators to close this thread. The important thing is she is on the road to recovery. Thanks again.

I shouldn't have looked, I know better. I cried when I saw what was done to this poor little girl and I will never understand how anyone could do this to a dog. I am upset with myself if I miss brushing Chloes teeth at bedtime let alone what these monsters have done to Jenny. I am looking at my little baby curled up all safe and cozy in bed with me and think "thats what every dog deserves" it is the least that you can offer in return for all of the unconditional love that a dog provides. I hope and pray that these cruel horrible creatures are made to pay for what they put her through. I am so glad to hear that she is recovering so quickly.
