| Buried items Sunny loves to bury her pig ears, bully sticks and sometimes her treats. I have had other dogs in the past do this, but the difference with Sunny is that she REMEMBERS where she buried her items! LOL. Does your Yorkie do this? She is too funny to watch, she is methodical about how she buries each item! Bobbi

| I've got one with a memory like that, he doesn't burry things but he hides toys throughout the house and randomly will take off looking for a toy and go to an odd place, and bring back his hidden toy. It's so cute when they do that isn't it.

| I guess maybe I should clarify..she buries these items in the house...dig, dig, dig into the blanket, then flops the edge of the blanket over with her nose OR dig, dig, dig into the two bed pillows and pushes the toy with her snout into the two pillows..so I guess maybe she is "hiding"them for later. I just know one night I am going to roll over and be face to face with a smelly pig ear! LOL! Bobbi

| Mojo does this all the time! If I leave my purse open in his reach, he'll even "bury" his bully sticks in there!!! Yuck! LOL

| Princess hides treats she otherwise hates. If the bank or Sonic gives us a milkbone I let her take it even though it's not on her diet...because she loves to bury it & that along with a denti-bone that's floating around here is the only thing she'll bury (& never eat). Sometimes she'll hide it somewhere that she can't access later (like this tiny decor cradle) & I have to 'rescue' it. I don't know how she gets it in there in the first place.

| My Muffin would bury stuff, even the imaginary digging a hole on furniture and burying it, but Kacee doesn't do that. She will dig a nice hole in my flower beds though.

| We will often find small piles of Belle's food under covers, in backpacks, etc. It's so funny to pull the covers up over your head and pieces of food go flying everywhere.

| Callie does and she remembers where she hides them. If she cant find the right place to hide it she walks around with it crying. After it sits in the dirt for a day or so apparently it tastes better too yuck lol.

| Sunny does at times, get a bit "distressed" because she can't seem to find the absolutely positively the best spot to bury her treasure! Sometimes I just want to say to her, "just pick a spot already! It will be there when u get back, promise!!" LOL! Bobbi

| Gracie only buries bone-shaped things. The very first time I gave her a nylabone, when she was about 15 wks old, she didn't even attempt to play with it or chew it, she immediately starting pacing around the room in which she was confined, poking in corners etc until she found a place to hide it. She put it under a pillow then pushed the imaginary dirt over it with her nose. I thought it was just that one bone, but when Starbucks gave her a mini-milkbone - about an inch long - she did the same thing. No other shape - only bone-shaped. Weird but funny. |

| These are the cutest stories... They really are terriers lol, we may coddle them and dress them up (some of us), but they are going to show us their doggy side lol! So. Cute. I hope my new baby does this.
