Gracie only buries bone-shaped things. The very first time I gave her a nylabone, when she was about 15 wks old, she didn't even attempt to play with it or chew it, she immediately starting pacing around the room in which she was confined, poking in corners etc until she found a place to hide it. She put it under a pillow then pushed the imaginary dirt over it with her nose. I thought it was just that one bone, but when Starbucks gave her a mini-milkbone - about an inch long - she did the same thing. No other shape - only bone-shaped. Weird but funny.
