![]() I thought he was loving a certain type of chew bone 'over here' and bought him one a week. It wasn't until 6 weeks later, when I went to make up the guest bed in the spare room - that I realised they were all buried in the quilt there Sally + Harry x | |

| Smokey saves most of his treats for 'later'. He "buries" them in corners, between the pillows on the sofa, under the dining room table, between furinture and the baseboards and often takes them out and reburies them somewhere else. His favorite place is under the pillow of his doggie bed, which he doesnt sleep in anymore and which we now use as his toy box. It's hilarious to watch and we have to turn our heads and give him 'privacy' or he keeps marching back and forth with his treasure in his mouth until we do. What really amazes me is that days later, he will retrieve his deposit and either eat it or bury it again elsewhere. I'm glad to hear that he is not the only THRIFTY Yorkie. Earnet a bone - save a bone, I always say. :>)~

| Yep, doesn't like to be watched either, nor does she like if we get too close to the area of the freshly buried treasure! Whats funny is she will go back a few minutes later to check if its still there and move it if she has foumd a btter spot. Silly puppy, no one wants that smelly, nasty pig ear or bully stick! Espe ially not me! LOL! Bobbi Quote:

| Yeah-Neo is the one that buries his treats, but Connor is ALWAYS watching and will take advantage anytime Neo leaves the room. Poor baby comes back to retrieve his "snackie" and Bubba will have already taken it! Yes, sometimes there are spats, but usually I or DH will just give Neo another and make sure he eats it then. |

| One of mine must be going quite highbrow. He always hides his biscuits in between the books in the bookcases. |

| Baxter does this too. Watching him push the fabric (that doesn't move) with his nose trying to cover up his treasure...too precious! He also watches TV. He doesn't just respond to a dog barking or a noise from another animal; he actually recognizes animals on TV and runs to the big screen, growls and jumps at them. He recognizes the music from a commercial that a dog is in and will come in from another room. He HATES the commercials with the Vikings - the one with the kid on Santa's lap...oooooo..drives him bonkers. He runs from the kitchen to get in the living room in time to jump up and give that kid a good CHOMP! He is certainly entertaining! |
