| I have to ask your opinions. I am actually thinking of going back to school (something I never thought I'd consider doing). My husband and coworkers both suggested that I go back to school to be a veterinarian. I had decided against that when I was about 13 simply because I hated seeing sick pups pass on, but now that I'm older and more mature I think I could do some good in the field. My husband tells me all the time how great I am with animals. I've also fostered dogs my whole life and am very good at helping them get over illnesses and the behavioral issues associated with dogs who have been abused and hurt their whole life. My mom and I worked out a list with almost all the dogs we'd fostered, it totaled over 30 and we knew we were forgetting some. My biggest success has been my Lab Sammy. He wouldn't let anyone but me touch him and in a little over a year he learned to love everyone. Now he doesn't know a stranger. I wanna be able to do good, and what better way than to learn how to save the animals I so love, or if I have to, help ease their passing. I can start my own foster/surrender program while I'm at it since I'd have the facilities. What are your opinions?

| DO IT DO IT!! Seriously...If I could go back to college, I would most definitely consider becoming a vet. I'm currently putting law school on hold to run a business with my hubby. To tell you the truth, I don't think I ever want to go back to law school. My family will be very disappointed but they'll understand. It was a big decision, but I'm glad I chose this one. I know all the reservations, doubts, and reluctance that rise from making such a big decision. Been there, done that (thank goodness it's all over). **Hyperventilating with excitement thinking about being with all the animals... **Hyperventilating with sadness thinking about seeing all the sick animals... BUT...and it's a big BUT...having the opportunity to help save a life is worth it (it's just my opinion and nothing more). You'll probably save hundreds, I'm sure. People have different talents and it seems like a career in the veterinary field is your thing. I admire your talent and your passion. Whichever way you decide to you, I'm sure animals will be a part of your life for a ve-e-e-e-e-ry long time. |

| I think it would be awesome. You will be surprised how much a little bit of age can help you in college. I went back to finish my degree at 30 yrs old. I was more focused and more concerned with my grades. If your DH is supportive than I say do it!!
