Question I have to ask your opinions.

I am actually thinking of going back to school (something I never thought I'd consider doing). My husband and coworkers both suggested that I go back to school to be a veterinarian. I had decided against that when I was about 13 simply because I hated seeing sick pups pass on, but now that I'm older and more mature I think I could do some good in the field. My husband tells me all the time how great I am with animals. I've also fostered dogs my whole life and am very good at helping them get over illnesses and the behavioral issues associated with dogs who have been abused and hurt their whole life. My mom and I worked out a list with almost all the dogs we'd fostered, it totaled over 30 and we knew we were forgetting some. My biggest success has been my Lab Sammy. He wouldn't let anyone but me touch him and in a little over a year he learned to love everyone. Now he doesn't know a stranger. I wanna be able to do good, and what better way than to learn how to save the animals I so love, or if I have to, help ease their passing. I can start my own foster/surrender program while I'm at it since I'd have the facilities. What are your opinions?
