| I know my heart and that I can not foster. I cannt even go in the shelter to drop off towels and blankets. My daughter in law volunteers at a shelter and I send my donations with her. |

| I understand where you are coming from. I'm in a similiar situation. We pulled our little Gianna from the vet hospital after she was hit by a car and left on the side of the road to die. She was in bad shape, they did not think she'd make it and said if she did she'd have neorological issues that would inhibit her. We've had her with us just over a week and have been caring for her. She's come a long way from when we first saw her in the vet's office. I promised hubby if he donated to her vet bill, and let me take her home that I'd find her a good home when she was ready. It's getting very hard for me to consider parting with her. She's sitting on my lap now as I type. Honestly don't know what I'm going to do. I'm a terrible foster mom. |

| Donating YT 30K Club Member | I a so glad you found a good home for her and saved her. 2 years ago the shelter I volunteer at bought dogs from a puppy mill auction that was going out of business (the only reason they did it). I decided to foster the 8 week old pom pup and kept her until she was spayed and find her a home. Fortunately my DH boss and her adult daughter fell in love with Angel when I took her to his job and decided to adopt her. They adopted her on New Years Eve so now every New Years Eve I get a call from them saying how much they love her and don't know what they would do with out her. They also had a poodle and they became best friends. They renamed her Lola because whatever Lola wants Lola gets. lol I was so relieved that she went to a great home but decided that I could never do it again. I have so much respect for those that do it all the time.
